About Us
Woodhaven is owned by Jake Hendzel and Jerry De Smidt and located just 20 minutes west of Green Bay in beautiful Northeast Wisconsin. The show winning Pinzgauer cattle roam the rolling pastures while the barns are filled with champion show quality poultry. We are both Landscapers by trade and our gardens are plentiful and change constantly with the seasons. Jerry has taken a new job and now works in the sign industry. Showing Pinzgauers for the past 16 years has been a major focus here. Some of our accomplishments have been, Premier Breeder and Exhibitor over 25 times, over 100 Champion and Res. Division winners, over 90 Grand and Res. Champion Males and Females. Other highlights include the National Grand Champion Male or Female 12 times and Reserve National Grand Champion 5 times. We have also had the Supreme Champion Pinzgauer at the National show 4 times. Hard work, proper feeding, and modern breeding have all contributed to these results.
